Why Does SPC Flooring Outperform the Rest?

5 Layers

1.UV Coating/Protective Finish: The topmost layer that enhances color and gloss and provides primary defense against stains, chemicals, and UV fading.

2. Wear Layer: A transparent, typically urethane-based, coating that protects the floor's design film from scratches, scuffs, and general wear and tear.

3. Decorative Layer/Color Film: A high-resolution printed vinyl layer featuring realistic photo imagery of wood or stone, which gives the flooring its aesthetic appearance.

4. SPC Core (Rigid Core): The thickest and densest part of the plank, made from a combination of natural limestone powder, polyvinyl chloride, and stabilizers. This core provides structural stability, durability, and makes the flooring 100% waterproof.

5. Attached Underlayment/Backing Layer: An optional base layer, often made of IXPE or EVA foam/cork, which provides cushioning, sound absorption, and extra insulation.
